• In the matter of grading and surfacing with bituminous material ROSS AVENUE
from Hazelwood St. to Germain St., under Preliminary Order 221313, approved January
5, 1965, and Final Order 223727, approved June 1, 1965, and in the matter of
constructing- a public sewer in ROSS AUENUE from a point 125 ft. more or less west of
Germain St. to Hazelwood St., under Preliminary Order 221499, approved January 15,
1965, and Final Q�rder No. 223726, approved June 1 , 1965.
RESOLVED, That the plans and specifications as submitted for the above ir�7prove-
ment be and the same are hereby approved and the Commissioner of Public Works be and
he is hereby directed to do the fine grading and place the bituminous surfacing by
City Forces at an estimated cost of $5,859•00 and the Purchasing Agent proceed to
secure the necessary materials, and be it
FURTHER RESOLUED, That the Purchasing Agent be and he is hereby directed to
obtain bids for the improvement, the bids to show separately the amount for the
grading work (except the work to be done by City Forces) and the amount for the sewer
work as per plans and specifications and the total thereof to be considered as bids
for- the entire improvement and be'it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the cost of the above improvement including engineering
and inspection expenses amounting to $703.00 or a total of $6562.00 plus the cost
of grading and sewer be assessed against the benefited property.
