LOSS COUNCIL FILE NO, ORDINANCE NO An Ordinance amending Chapter 344 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code pertaining to Parking Lots THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN: Section 1 That Section 344.06 Enclosure is hereby amended by deleting the second and third paragraphs which read as follows: Said enclosures shall be constructed and maintained so as to withstand the shocks and stresses to which they will normally be subjected by vehicles using the premises. The enclosures may be constructed of wood, metal, concrete, or other material used in masonry and shall be of such height as to engage the bumper of any motor vehicle parked on said lot so that no portion of the same shall project beyond the boundary line of said place. Where such.mo.tor vehicle parking place abuts on a building, said enclosure shall be so placed that it will prevent motor vehicles us- ing such parking place from striking such building. Said enclosures may be of the standard type designed by the City Architect or of any other type approved by him following the submission of plans and drawings thereof. and insert the following in lieu thereof: Said enclosures shall be constructed and maintained so as to withstand the shocks and stresses to which they will normally be subjected and be such as to insure that no portion of any vehicle parked on said parking place shall project beyond the property line of said place. Where such motor vehicle parking place abuts a building, such enclosure shall be so placed that it will prevent motor vehicles from striking such building. Said enclosure may be posts and rails eighteen inches high which will engage the bumper of any motor vehicle parked in said place, or it may be concrete wheel stops conforming to the following: 1.1� Precast concrete units shall be a minimum of eight inches high. and shall be securely fastened in place in a : manner approved by the City Architect. 2.
