WHEREAS, the City Architect has requested the City Council to
hold a public hearing to consider any complaints about the expense incurred
by the City of Saint Paul in removing a dangerous structure at 557 Marshall
Avenue, more particularly described as: West 53 feet Lot 5, West 18 feet
Lot 7, All Lot 6, "Ramsey County Loan and Trust Companyll'I'Subdivision number
one "St. Paul, Minnesota "; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the last known record owners of the property
are Howard Yessne, 650 Mt. Curve Boulevard; Sylvia Rosenbloom, c/o 650 Mt.
Curve Boulevard; Mpls. Savings & Loan Assn., 2 E. Fourth Street; Edward Ellingson,
676 Aurora Avenue, all of Saint Paul, Minnesota; therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Saint Paul hold a
public hearing in the Council Chamber at 10 o'clock A. M. on the 17th day
of December, 1965, to consider any complaints about the expense incurred
by-the City of Saint Paul and to confirm the amount thereof; be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Architect notify by mail the record
owners of the property in question at the last known address, as well as other
interested persons of record; and be it
FINALLY RESOLVED, that the prior resolution of this Council, Council
File No. 225391, approved September 28, 1965, be and the same hereby is
rescinded and cancelled.

In this matter the following resolutions were adopted by the
City Councils
C.F. 220439 adopted by the Council October 22; 1964 (published
October 24, 1964), set a public hearing at 10 A. M. November 17
1964.
C.F. 220746, adopted by the Council November 19, 1964 (publish-
? ed November 21, 1964), ordered the wredking by and at the sepa-
rate cost and expense of the owner, occupant, or other person
in control thereof.
C.F. 221121; adopted by the Council December 17, 1964 (published
3 December 19, 1964)f directed the Commissioner of Parks And Rec-
reation And Public Buildings U enter the premises and wreck and
remove the dwelling and accessory buildings thereon, and do any
and all things therein necessary for the protection of life,
limb, and adjoining property.
C.F. 221955, adopted by the Council February 14, 1965 (published
February 20, 1965), approved the award of the contract for wreck-
ing to All State Improving Co. for the sum of $1,088.00 in ac-
cordance with specifications and Informal Bid No. 7904.

August 14, 1965) provided that the wrecking expense of $1,088
and expense of the Department of Parks And Recreation And.
-Public Buildings in connection with the condemnation in the
amount of $78.31, making a total of $1,166.310 be paid out of_
Wrecking Buildings - Demolition, 0976.256, and, in the event
said sum proves collectible from the owner, same is to be cred-
ited to 0976256.
The building has now been satisfactorily wrecked and a regis-
tered bill mailed to the owners.
We are requesting thit you hold a public hearing with ten
days' notice to consider any complaints about the expenses in-

pany Subdivision No. 1. The property was listed in the names
