RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul
hereby concurs in, ratifies, and approves the action of the
Hospital Facility Building Commission in deleting one item in
the amount of $224.50 from the contract awarded to Brown and
Day, Inc., originally in the amount of $1,029.95, so that the
total amount of the contract price shall be $80+.55, all as
more particularly set out in the letter from Francis M. Tompkins,
Executive Secretary of the Hospital Facility Building Commission,
to Robert B. Gerber, City Cle24 a copy of which is attached hereto
and incorporated herein by reference.

Dear Mr. Gerber:
The Hospital Facility Building Commission, at its meeting held on
January 27, 1965, awarded a contract to Brown and Day, Inc., under
Bid " #802, in the amount of $1,029.05.
At a later date the Commission approved a deletion of one item in
the amount of $224.50, inasmuch as the vendor informed the Commission
that it could not deliver the item at the quoted price.
The Commission respectfully requests that the City Council of the City
of Saint Paul approve the above action under the provisions of
Laws 1957, Chapter #938, so that the contract price contained in
the appropriate Council Resolution will read $804.55.
