This area is no longer used as a street; permanent abutments restrict each end of this portion of street, pernutting no ingress from any direction. The City owns all abutting property and no private parties are directly afFected. As indicated, this inquiry pertains to the vacation of City right-of-way only; utility easements may remain in place even though street usage has been removed. The purpose of this vacation is to allow the flow of green space within the pazk, if removal of the road is a future consideration. It also allows maps and records to accurately record the current (non-street) use of the property. Will you please advise me of any concerns qou may have regarding this proposed vacation as soon as possible. I would like to receive your comments before August 3, 2006 so I can prepare a report to the City Council on this matter.
