WHEREAS, In connection with-the cost of sidewalk replacement on property
butting Lots 11 and 12, Block 8, Summit Park Addition, (788 Grand Avenue), be-
cuse of defective work, it was necessary to have this work performed by the
Sidewalk Contractor in District No. 2 under Comptroller's Contract No. 1-6727,

WHEREAS, a portion of the total cost of this work amounted to $487.14,
