RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby approves and
concurs in the resolution of the Board of Water Commissioners of the City
of Saint Paul dated November 17, 1965 , providing therefor and authoriz-
ing the execution of the proposed first rider or amendment to Professional
Service Agreement by and between said Board and Charles 0. Georgi, covering
professional engineering services performed and to be performed by the
latter for the former and fixing the compensation payable to the latter
by the former therefor;
RESOLVED, FURTHER, That the execution and delivery of said proposed rider
or amendment to said Professional Service Agreement in behalf of said Board
hereby are authorized, said instrument having been approved as to form by
the Corporation Counsel.

WHEREAS, The Board of Water Commissioners does not have the. forces necessary
for carrying on all field aurvey work related to and requited for or,because
of extensions and maintenance of the waterworks system ;; and,
WHEREAS, The Board hitherto has engaged the services of Mr'., Charles 0,, Georgi,
a professional engineer and land surveyor registered in the State of Minnesota,
for performing said field work and related services under the direction of and
for the Board the fees'and compensation therefor being set forth in a Contract
entered into by and between the Board and Mr.. Georgi, said Contract having been
made as of 31 December 1962; and,
WHEREAS, The Capitol Area Land Surveyors" Association has adopted a Minimum Fee
Schedule effective October 1965 and the Board and Mr. Georgi'desire to amend
said Contract so as to revise the scale of fees set out therein so as to conform
same to said Minimum Fee Schedule thus adopted by said Association;
NOV, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the proper officers of the Board hereby are
authorized and directed to enter into, and execute with Mr, Charles 0., Georgi a
First Rider or Amendment to said Contract, prepared and approved as to form by
the Corporation Counsel, the same to be an amendment of said Contract consistent
with the foregoing; and, BE IT
RESOLVED, FURTHER, That the honorable City Council be requested to confirm and
ratify this action of the Board of Water Commissioners and said First Rider or
Amendment to said Contract as thus approved as to form.
