COUNCI RESOLUTION— GENERAL FORM

WHEREAS, Joseph Doran and Eugene-Gordon, employees of the
Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Police, were'Anjured in a
third party accident on.December 16, 1961, while engaged in the
performance of their duties for said Bureau; and
WHEREAS, the City has incurred medical expense in the amount
of $507.70 therefor, and said employees were disabled from work for
a period of time being paid salary in the amount of $1,492.33; and
WHEREAS, a settlement has been negotiated between said employees
and the other party involved in said accident, which provides for a
net settlement to the City in the amount of $1,313.66, less one
fourth attorney's fees, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the proper City Officers are hereby authorized
to accept in full, final and complete settlement of its claim
herein the sum of $1,313.66, less attorney's fees, for a net amount
of $985.24, and to execute any necessary releases therefor,•and
endorse draft No. 121758 of the American Universal Insurance Company;
that of said net settlement, $729.09 is thereby credited to the Police
Salary Fund, and $256.15 to the Workmen's Compensation Fund.
This Resolution rescinds C. F. 225929, adopted November 17, 1965.
