be allowed under Contract G 3941 between the City of Saint
Paul and Dean Lundholm Construction Co., Inc., said con-
tract for Alterations to Rice Street Library, and said ex-
tra to cover paneling on five areas at the sloped ceilings
and one window jamb, this work having been requested by
the Commissioner of Libraries, Auditorium And Civic Build-
ings and agreement made with the contractor, and a memoran-
dum of said agreement having been filed with the Comptroller
and countersigned by him.

Dear Sir:
Contract No. G -3941 was awarded to Dean Lundholm Construc-
tion Co., Inc. for Alterations to the Rice Street Library.
During the course of the work under this contract, it was
found desirable to install paneling on five areas at the
sloped ceilings and on one window jamb; and, at the request
of the Commissioner of Libraries, Auditorium And Civic
Buildings, negotiations have been conducted with the con-
tractor who agrees to do this work for the sum of $94.00
which is a reasonable amount for the labor and material in-
volved.
It is therefore requested that a resolution be submitted
to the Council authorizing this extra in the amount of
$94.00.
