RESOLVED, That an extra in the amount of $278.00�
be allowed under Contract No. G 3774 between the City of Saint
Paul and Casci Decorators, said contract for Painting of Offices
at the Public Utilities Building, 100 East Tenth Street, Saint
Paul, Minnesota, and said extra to cover the plaster patching
and painting in certain other areas of the building, this work
having been requested by the Department of Public Utilities, and
agreem�nt made with the Contractor, and a memorandum of said agree-
ment having been filed wi•th the Comptroller and �ountersigned
by him.

Dear Sir:
Contract No. G 3774 was awarded to Casci Decorators for
Painting of_ Offices at the Public Utilities Building, 100 East
Tenth Street, Saint Paul, Minnesota.
. During the course of• the work under this contract, certain
changes were found to be desirable and after di�scussion between
the Department of Fublic Utilities and this office, negotiations
were conducted with the Contractor who agrees to make the f ollow-
ing changes for the amount listed:
Preparatory work - Ceiling, walls and wood trim - wash and plaster
patch areas where finish coat plaster is now missing.
Ceiling, walls and wood trim - Prime newly patched areas and
apply one complete coat.

Radiators and mopboard to be painted one coat.
Total extra cost . . . . . . . . $278.00
This is a reasonab�e amount for the labor and material
involved, and it is therefore requested that a Resolution be
submitted to the Council authorizing an extra in the amount of
$278. 00 to contract No. G 3774 to cover the above described
changes. �
