'�TA.EREAS� it is estimated that the total consideration to be paid for the acquisition of said interest will be �21�500.00; now� therefore� be it RESOLVED� By the C�ouncil of the City of Saint Paul, as follows: 1. That a.n application be made to the Housing a.nd Fiome Finance Agency for a grant in an amount authorized by Title �TII of th� Housing �ct of 1g61 which amount is presently estimated tv be �4,�00.00, and that �he City of Saint Paul will pay the balanc� of the consideration for the acquisition for such interests and the total of all related �osts from other funds available to i t. 2. That the Commissioner of Parks� Recreation and Public Buildings is hereby authorized and directed to execute and to file sueh application. with the Ho�.sing and Home Finance �geney, to provide`additional information and �o furnish such documents as may be required by said Agency� to exeeute:�.such contracts -�� as are required by said �Agency, and to aet as the au$Drized correspondent vf the Citp of Saint Paul. . 3. That the propo�ed acquisition is in accordanc� with Saint Paul' s Comprehensive Plan adopted April� 1963, bp this Counail for the preservation of permanent open-space land, and that should said grant be made� the City of �aint Paul will retain said land for the use designated in said application and approved by the Housing and Home Finanee Agency. �.
