An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 8235, entitled: "An ordinance to establish, locate and regulate a • public market in ,the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota, to pro- vide certain rules and regulations for the government of said market, and for the establishment of other and further regulations relative thereto. This is an emergency ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety," approved April 15, 1941, as amended. This is an emergency ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety. THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL LOTS ORDAIN: Section 1. That Ordinance Number 8235, approved April 15, 1941, as amended, be and the'same is hereby further amended by deleting Section 1 thereof and substituting in lieu and in place thereof the following: "All that triangular- shaped tract of land bounded on the southwest by dackson-Street,._on the southeast by Tenth Street, and on the northerly side by Interstate Highways 35E and 94, together with vacated streets and alleys con- tained within the boundaries of said tract and contiguous thereto, and together with such additions and extensions as hereafter be made thereto, is hereby designated and established as the City Market of the City of Saint Paul for the barter and sale of meat, fruit, vegetables, gar- den truck, and other products of,the farm, garden, green- house, apiary or of the forest, subject to all the regu- lations and provisions of this ordinance, to all other laws and ordinances relative thereto and to such other rules and regulations g governing the same which may be promul- gated by the Commissioner of Public Utilities." Section 2; That said ordinance as amended, be and the same is further amended by deleting the second paragraph from Section 2 there- of and substituting in lieu and in place thereof-the following: "All growers occupying stalls on a season, monthly, or daily permit, shall after 7 :00 A;M; daily vacate their regularly assigned stalls and move to the central area as designated by the Market Director,." Section 3. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety. Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force upon its passage,.approval, and publication.
