Resolved that a credit in the amount of $235.00 be al-
lowed under Contract No. G 3680 between the �ity of Saint
Paul and Aael Newman Heating and Plumbing, Inc. , said con�-
tract for Mechanical Construction of Fire Stations 1 and
6, Saint Paul, and said credit to cover the omission of
wrought iron lining of the existing drill hole at Fire
, Station No. 1 site, this change having been approved by
the Commissioner of Public Safety, and agreement made with
the contractor, and a memorandum of said agreement having • -
been filed with the Comptroller and countersigned by him.

Contract No. G 3680 was awarded to Axel Newman Heating &
Plumbing, Inc. for Mechanical Construction of Fire Sta- I
tions 1 and 6, Saint Paul. �
During the course of the work it was decided that the '
� wrought iron lining of the existing drill hole at Fire Sta-
tion No. 1 site should be omitted as this drill hole is ,
acceptable as it to the Public Works Department. The ,
Contractor submitted a credit of $235.00 for this omission.
It is recomrnended that this credit be accepted. I '
