WHEREAS, Chris Knopps is a resident of Saint Paul living at 2078 Eleanor Avenue and,
V✓HEREAS, Chris Knopps wishes to donate a 17 foot Alumacraft squaze-back canoe to the City of Saint Paul, Division of Pazks
& Recreation and
WHEREAS, the 17 foot AlumacraR canoe will be used for children's recreation and instruction at Lake Phalen for the Outdoor
Adventure Day Camp. This canoe will be added to our boat rental program at Lake Phalen which will increase the number
participants who can leam canoeing as well as bring in additional revenue for the City of Saint Paul, Division of Pazks &
Recreation and,
WHEREAS, Chris Knopps a�rees by donating the canoe to the City of Saint Paul it becomes the property of the City's Parks &
Recreation Division and,
WHEREAS, the appraised value of the 17 foot Alwnacraft canoe is $550.00; now
THEREFORE TO BE RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts the conh�iburion of the canoe and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council sincerety thanks and expresses its appreciation of Chris Knopps for
giving this generous contribution to the City of Saint Paul Parks & Recreation's aquatics program.
