WHEREA.S, In the matter of Camptroller's Contract L6701 for the
Redecking of the Raymond Avenue Bridge over the Great Northern Railway�
Minnesota Transfer Ra3lway and Northern Pacific Rai].wa.y Campa�y tracka�
Sheehy Bridge Construction Campany, Contractor, the specified date of
ca�pletion was Ju1y 16, 1965; and
, W�AS, The Contractor has prosecuted the work diligently� but
� due to the unavailability of materials specified for seal coating said
improvement, it wa,s not possible to camplete the seal coating by said
date of campletion and since that date adverse weather conditions have
not permitted earlier campletion; now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the proper City officials be and they axe hereby '
authorized and directed to execute a.n amendment to said Contract extending
the time of completion to AUGUST 25,=1965 provided, however� that this
resolution sha.Ll. have no force or efPect unless the sureties on the
C,antractor's bond consent thereto and �ile-.,�uch consent in writing with
the City Camptroller; and be it '•�

FURTHER RESOLVED; That the City of St. Paul hereby waives all c�:aim
for liqui.dated damages and that no Engineering and Tnspection costs on
this pro,ject will be�charged to the Contractor for such extended period.
