WHEREAS, the City Council authorized amendment no. 2 to the Strike Force Grant agreement 02-13209-G
on September 7, 2005 (council Fle #OS-808); and
WHEREAS, this grant provides funding for the Saint Paul Police DepartmenYs participation in the State of
Minnesota Criminal Gang Strike Force; and
WHEREAS, a 2005 financing and spending plan needs to be established for this amendment; and
WI3EREAS, The Mayor pursuant to Section 10.071 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does
cerfify that t6ere are available for appropriation funds of $93,450 in excess of those esHmated in
the 2005 budget; and
WHEREAS, The Mayor rewmmends that the following addition be made to the 2005 budget:
