I do not think it is necessariiy a ma.tter of extending Minnesota daylight saving time to conform with the majority of states, but rather , we ought to have a national schedule, either Minnesota's or something else which might be decided by national legislation. As you may know, the Senate has approved and referred to the House of Representatives S. 1404, which provides that those states or political sub- divisions which adopt daylight saving time would be required to begin its observance at 2 a.m. on the last Sunday in April and end it at 2 a.m. on the , last Sunday 3.n October.
