Dear Sir:
This is written in response to the application of
Saint Joseph's Hospital to. construct a temporary parking
lot on the north side of Ninth Street between St. Peter
and Main Streets, a legal description of which is attached.
At the April,7, 1966 Board of Zoning meeting, the staff
reported that the plan meets the design standards for this
type facility and that the Traffic Engineer has approved
the plan as' tot traffic. The Council has granted informal,
approval for this lot on March -229-1966.• Therefore, the
Board of Zoning recommends approval of-the application or
a permit to construct a temporary parking lot.
` Very truly yours,
- N. R. H 'den

DATE: May 12, 1966
SUBJECT: St. Joseph's Hospital Parking Lot
The hearing held May 12 with reference to a parking lot for
St. Joseph's Hospital was,12ased on an erroneous des ription
furnished to this office eaxd. They
are to give us a correct e escription as soon as i is avail-
able from the architects for the hospital.
Because of the ten days' notice requirement, it appears that a
re- hearing cannot be scheduled before June 1. At the Council
meeting on the 12th, it was contemplated that the re- hearing
would be held on May 26. Appropriate action should be taken
by the Council to arrange for the hearing on June 2.
