RESOLVED, That United States Post Office be and hereby
is granted a permit to install and operate a 106 -car
parking lot on property located on the north side of
Pennsylvania Avenue east of Jackson Street, more particularly
described as follows:
Lots 1 through 8 and Lots 19 through 22 and that
part of vacated Ash Street accruing to Lot 3,
all in Block 2, "Ashton and Sherburne's- Addition
to Saint Paul ",
all in accordance with final plans dated Received April 12,
1966; subject to the condition that said - applicant- permittee,
and its successors and assigns, shall make due,complianee
with all applicable provisions of Municipal ordinances,
State statutes and rules and regulations of public authorities
having cognizance.

This is written in response to the application for a
permit by the United State's Post Office to- construct
a 106- car `parking• lot on the•North side of Pennsyl-
vania Avenue`-east of Jackson Street, described as,
except that part taken for highway, the following -
Lots 1 through 8 and Lots 19 through 22 and that
part of vacated Asti Street accruing -to Lot 3, all in
Block 2, Ashton: "& Sherburne's Addition.
At the April 21, 1966.Board of Zoning meeting, the
staff reported that the plans meet the design stan-
dards for this type facility. The Traffic Engineer
has reviewed the plan as to -traffic .and recommends
approval. Therefore the Board of Zoning recommends
approval of the application for the permit.

You are hereby notified that a public hearing will be held in the
Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court House in the City of
St. Paul at 10:00 a.m. on June 2, 1966, on the application of U. S.
Post Office for permit to develop with a 106 -car parking lot on the
following property: except that part taken for highway the following:
Lots 1 thru 8 and Lots 19 thru 22 and that part of vacated Ash Street
accruing to Lot 3 all in Block 2; Ashton and Sherburnets Addition to
St. Paul. The property is located on the north side of Pennsylvania
between Jackson and L'Orient.
