PRESENTED BY
COMMISSION
RESOLVED, upon due consideration of the pertinent
application -of Clark Oil and Refining Corporation, owner
of the subject premises, situate in the City of Saint Paul
and described as Lots 14, and 15, Block 9, Eastville
Heights, that a permit hereby is granted unto said Clark
Oil and Refining Corporation for the reconstruction of an
existing filling station on the southeast corner of Arcade
Street and Geranium Avenue, all inaecordance with final
plans dated Received March 14 1966, herewith filed, provided
that said Clark Oil and Refining Corporation and its
successors and assigns, shall comply with all applicable
provisions of municipal ordinances State statutes and rules
and regulations of public authorities having cognizance, and
further subject to the condition that any billboards erected
or used at the subject premises be set back a minimum of
39 feet.

Dear Sir:
This is written in response to the application for a
Permit to reconstruct an existing filling station on the
southeast corner of Arcade Street and Geranium Avenue by
the Clark Oil Refining Corporation. The property is des-
cribed as Lots 14, & 15, Block 9, Eastville Heights Addi-
tion.
-At the March 3, 1966 Board of Zoning meeting, the staff
reported that the Traffic Engineer has reviewed the plans
and recommends approval, and that the plans meet the
design standards for this type facility. Therefore, the
Board recommends approval of the application for a Permit
to reconstruct the filling station.

Dear Sir:
In regard to the application made by the Clark Oil and Refining
Corp. for permission to install and operate a new filling station
on the S.E. corner of Arcade & Geranium Avenue.
They wish to install three (3) islands, six (6) pumps and
two (2) 7,500 gallon underground gasoline storage tanks.
We have investigated the foregoing and report that this
installation will be made in accordance with the rules and
regulations of the St. Paul Fire Prevention Code.
We, therefore, recommend that permission be granted.
