WHEREAS, Augiets Inc., 2400 Endicott Street, Saint Paul,
Minnesota, has requested permission to install and maintain sub-
surface footings and pile caps extending a foot and a half into the
boulevard area of Wycliff Street south and westerly of Endicott
Street in the City of Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, The construction of-the footings and pile caps
before the winter season is a matter of extreme urgency and necessity
to said Augiets Inc.; and ������
WHEREAS, An Ordinance, C. F. No. , granting
permission to said Augiets Inc. to proceed with the installation of
the said footings and pile caps has been prepared and introduced to
the.Council of the City of Saint Paul on December 21,.1966, and has
been read before said Council, with eventual adoption set to occur
on January 5, 1967; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That in view of the extreme urgency of the
request, the Commissioner of Public Works is hereby authorized and
directed to issue a permit to the Augiets Inc., acting through its
agent LeRoy H. Augustine, for the installation of subsurface footings
and pile caps extending a maximum of a foot and a half into the
boulevard area of Wycliff Street and at variable depths below the
existing grade, south and westerly of Endicott Street, subject to
the same conditions and requirements as set out in the Ordinance,
C. F. No. pending before the Council of the City of Saint
Paul, inf m ap roval of said construction being hereby given in
anticipation of the final adoption,of said Ordinance.
