RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering Oxygen,
Acetylene and Argon to various departments of the City of Saint Paul and County
of Ramsey and Welfare Department, including Independent School District #625,
for a period of one year beginning November 15, 1966, to OXYGEN SERVICE COMPANY
in accordance with City specifications and the Formal Bid #2040 of said Oxygen
Service Ccmpany for the contract price of approximately $5,500.00 (at unit prices
bid) such bid being the lowest and said Qxygdin Service Company being a reasonable
and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to
draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper officials hereby
are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the Pity of Saint Paul and
County of Ramsey.
