RESOLVED.., That the Council hereby concurs in the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract to NALCO CHEMICAL COMPANY for furnishing and delivering
approximately 85 tons Nalfloc #617 to the City of Saint Paul, Water Department, Purification
and Filtration Plant, 1900 Rice Street, Saint Paul, Minnesota, amount of contract being
approximately $19,380.00, in accordance with City specifications therefor and the Formal
Bid #2062 of said Nalco Chemical Company, such bid being the only bid received and said
bidder being a reasonable and reliable one and the Corporation Counsel be and is hereby
directed to draft the proper form of contract therefor and the proper City officials
hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
