RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee therefor
and hereby awards contract to DRAKE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY for furnishing all required materials,
supplies, equipment, tools, and plant; to perform all necessary labor and supervision, and
to construct, install, erect, equip and complete all work in the Construction of the Carbon
Handling Facilities at McCarron Water Filtration Plant for the Water Department of Saint
Paul, Minnesota, in accordance with City specifications therefor hereto "attached and the
Formal Bid #2061 of said Drake Construction Comapny, for the contract price of $146,000.00
such bid being the lowest and said Drake Construction Company being a reasonable and reliable
bidder, and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of
contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said
contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
