Commissioner of Parks And-Recreation
And Public Buildings.
Subject: Job 65 -98
pear Sir:
Contract No. L- 6744 -3 was awarded to the Hunt Electric Cor-
poration for the Electrical Work'in connection with the Con-
struction of the Lexington Branch Library,. Saint Paul, Minne-
sota.
During the course of the-work under this contract it was
found desirable to install four additional disconnects for
the garage doors located near the small side door to the gar-
age with each disconnect properly identified as to the garage
door which it controls. This is required for the radio con-
trolled garage doors since it is necessary to disconnect the
radio controls when the library vehicles are not in use.
At the request of the Commissioner of Auditorium, Libraries
And Civic Buildings negotiations have been conducted with
the Contractor who agrees to install the four disconnects for
the amount of $50.00, which is a reasonable amount for the
labor and material involved.
It is therefore requested that -a resolution be submitted to
the Council authorizing this extra in the amount of $50.00 to
Contract No. L- 6744 -2 to cover the above described work.
