WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation and
Public Buildings is desirous of expanding recreational
facilities in the area of the Mississippi School; and
WHEREAS, a proposal has been prepared contemplating
the use of Housing and Redevelopment Authority funds for
construction of a recreational building at the Mississippi
School Site; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to enter into a lease agreement
with Independent School District No. 625 to provide a site for
said recreation building; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, that
it herewith directs the appropriate City officers to execute
a lease with Independent School District No. 625, said lease
to cover the premises necessary for the erection of the afore-
mentioned building by the Housing and Redevelopment Authority
for the use and benefit of the Department of Parks and Recreation
and Public Buildings.
