An ordinance amending Chapter 192 of the
Saint Paul Legislative Code pertaining to
vacant buildings and providing for the re-
moval of combustible materials and the
securing of doors and windows thereon.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Chapter 192 of the Saint Paul Legislative
Code be and the same is hereby amended by adding a section thereto,
as follows:
192.18. Vacant Buildings. The owner of any
building, whenever it becomes vacant, shall remove-
therefrom all paper or other combustible materials
accumulated therein and shall securely close and keep
closed all doors and windows or other openings into

such building while it remains unoccupied.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
thirty days after its passage, approval, and publication.
