WHEREAS, The State of Minnesota has accepted the option for
acquiring certain lands described below, as authorized by C. F.
230311, dated September 23, 1966;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the proper City officials be
and hereby are authorized to execute the attached warranty deed
for the acquisition by the State of Minnesota of the following
City -owned lands:

Lotsil, 2, 3, 4, 5; 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12t 13, in Block 14,
and that,part of the westerly 200 feet of Block'15 lying northerly
of Jefferson Avenue, all in Ridgewood Park Addition in the City of
St. Paul,laccording to the duly recorded plat thereof, situate in
Ramsey Count, Minnesota, the title thereto being registered and
evidenced,byfCertificate of Title No. 170658;

which lies southeasterly of the following described line:
Beginning at the intersection of the north line of Jefferson
Avenue with the east line of Baldwin Court; thence run northeast-
erly to a'point on the west line of Lot 14, said Block 14, distant
80 feet southerly of its intersection with the southerly right of
way line'of the Chicago, - -Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad
Company as now located-and there terminating;
together,with all right of access, being the right of ingress to
and egres's from that part of the above described tract, not ac-
quired herein, to Trunk Highway No. 35E.

THIS INDENTURE, Made , 1966, between the City of
Saint Paul, a municipal corporation under the laws of the State of Minnesota, party of
the first part, and the STATE OF MINNESOTA, party of the second part,

WITNESSM, That the said party of the first part, in consideration of the sum
of Three Thousand Seven Hundred and N01100---------- - - - - -- Dollars ($ 32700.Mto it in
hand paid by the said party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged,
does hereby Grant, Bargain, Sell and Convey unto the said party of the second part, its
successors and assigns, Forever, all the tract of land lying and being in Ramsey County,

And the said City of Saint Paul, party of the first part, for itself and its successors,
does covenant with'the said party of the second part, its successors and assigns, that it
is well seized in fee,of the lands and premises aforesaid, and has good right to sell and
convey the same in manner and form aforesaid, and that the same are free from all encum-
brances. l
And the above bargained and granted lands and premises, in the quiet and peaceable posses-
sion of the said party of the second part, its successors and assigns, against all persons
lawfully claiming or to claim the whole or any part thereof, subject to the encumbrances,
if any hereinbefore' mentioned, thesaid party of the first part will Warrant and Defend.
