RESOLVED, That the Council hereby concurs in the award of the Purchasing Committee

therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the City of

Saint Paul Water Department, Hamlin and Carroll Avenues, St. Paul, Minnesota,

Brass Corporation Stops, Curb Stops, etc. to MUELLER COMPANY at the contract price
of $8,892.50, in accordance with City specifications therefor and the Formal Bid
#2044 of said Mueller Company, such bid being the lower and said bidder being a
reasonable and reliable one and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed
to draw up the proper form of contract therefor and the proper City officials hereby
are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
