WHEREas, Mayor Randy Kell�s Capital City Education Tnitiative places a high priority on all children in
Saint Paul reading at grade level by grade 3; and
WHFF�ns, The Deluxe Corporation Foundation attempts, through charitable giving, to assist education
efforts;and
WHF�AS, The Deluxe Corporation Foundation has agreed to donate a$30,000 Reading is for Life grant
in support of VISTA members working in St. Paul Schools for Mayor Kelly's education initiative; and
TY��FORE, BE iT RESOLVFD, that the City Council accepts this contribution by the Deluxe
Corpara6on Foundation for the Capital City Education Initiative.
