In the Matter of 'reconstructing the sidewalk on the west aide of Macalester Street
from Juno Avenue to Randolph Avenue and on the east aide of Macalester Street from
Juno Avenue north approximately 135 feet and by doing all other Worm which is necess-
ary and incidental to complete said improvement
under Preliminary Order 22611A approved December 1* 1945

A public hearing having been had upon the above improvement upon due notice, and' the Council
having heard all persons, objections and recommendations relative thereto; and having fully considered
the same; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of St. Paul that the precise nature, extent and kind of im-
provement to be made by the said City is
to reconstruct the sidewalk on the west side of Macalester Street from Juno Avenue
to Randolph Avenue and on the east side of Macalester Street from Juno Avenue north
approximately 1351feet and by doing all other work,which is necessary and incidental
to complete said improvement, except whcxegood. and sufficient poured sidewalks now
exist
and the Council hereby orders said improvement to be made.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Commissioner of Public Works be and is hereby instructed and
directed to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement, and submit same to the Council for
approval; that upon said approval, the proper city officials are hereby authorized and directed to pro-
ceed with the making of said improvement in accordance therewith.

The Commissioner of Public Works, having had under consideration the preliminary order
of the Council known as Council File No. 226110 approved Dec. 1st. 1965
relative to reconstructing the sidewalk on the west side of Macalester St. from Juno Ave.
to Randolph Ave. and on the east side of Macalester St. from Juno Ave. north approxi-
mately 135 ft, and by doing all other work which is necessary and incidental to com-
plete said improvement.
and having investigated the matters and things referred to therein, hereby reports:
1. The estimated cost thereof is $3.25 per lin. ft, for standard sidewalk 5 ft.
wide and $3:80 per lin. ft. for standard sidewalk 6..ft, wide.

part thereof.
