THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:

Section 1, That the Zoning Code, Chapters 60 to 64,

perties in the City of Saint Paul, as amended, be and the -same
is hereby further amended so as to rezone the following des -,

Paul >Legislati -e Code, re Zoning, etc.,
be amended so as to rezone property
described as Lots 14 And 15, Block 1,
Wayne's Addition to St. Paul, on the
northeast corner of Earl and Beech
Streets, to a Commercial District, the
Council of the City of Saint Paul has
fixed the lst day of September, 1966, at
ten o'clock in the forenoon in the

said City, and at said time and place,

This is written in response to the Petition of Robert J.
Memmer to rezone from "B" Residence to Commercial property
located at the northeast corner of Beech and Earl Street
described as Lot 14 and 15, Block 1, Wayne's Addition.
This.atter was considered red at the August 4, 1966 Board of
Zoning meeting. There is a grocery store, a non - conforming
use, on Lot 14. The area to the North, East 1; West is
zoned "B" Residence and the area to the South is zoned "A"
Residence. The surrounding land use is as follows: East,
one and two - family; South, Margaret Playground; West,
single - family and a church; North, single - family. The
applicant wishes to construct a parking lot on the property
for his grocery store.
It is,the findings of the Board that it would be reasonable
to rezone the property so that the applicant may use the
property for a parking lot. Therefore, it is the recommen-
dation of the Board that the property be rezoned to Commer-
cial.
