The Council of the City of St. , Paul having received the report of the Commissioner
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
of Finance
1. That the said report and they same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to open, widen and extend the intersection of Montreal Avenue and West Seventh Street
by condemning and taking for'street purposes that part of Lot 9; Block 21, West End
described as follows: �.
Commencing at a point on the north line of Montva&l. Avenue at its intersection with
the Southeasterly line of West Seventh Street as widened, thence Northeasterly along
said southeasterly line for a distance of 18.00 feet, thence southerly on a straight
line to .a point on the north line of- Montreal Avenue 18.00 feet east of its intersection
with the southeasterly line 'of West Seventh Street as widened, thence west along

with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 240,00-
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on'the 27th day of
September, 1966 , at the hour of ;10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and inithe manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
