RESOLVED, That the proper City officers are
hereby authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of
the City of Saint Paul, the attached amendment of agreement
for Public Works Plan Preparation, P -Minn. -3075, Contract
Number H(402) -2667, the purpose of said amendment being
to modify said agreement so as to provide for advance
planning funds for preliminary planning to convert the
existing auditorium arena to a new exhibition hall.

AMENDMENT OF AGREEMENT FOR PU»IC WORKS PLAN PREPARATION

WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Law 560, 83rd Congress, as amended, the
United States of America, acting through the Secretary of Housing and
Urban Development ( hereinafter called the "Government ") has entered into
an Agreement For Public Works Plan Preparation with the City of Saint Paul,
Minnesota (hereinafter called the "Applicant "), said Agreement having
been created by the acceptance by the Applicant on-February 16, 1966 of
an Offer from the Government dated January 6, 1966, pertaining to the
project identified as Project No. P- Minn. -3075; and
WHEREAS, the scope of the Project has been changed; and
WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the Government and the Applicant to
amend the said Agreement by revising the Project description;
NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the mutual benefits flowing
to the Government and the Applicant, the parties hereto 'do hereby agree to
modify said agreement as follows:
Delete line 5 of the first page of the said Agreement reading
as %flows :
"the cost of plan preparation, to consist of preliminary planning
of a new exhibition hall."
and substitute the following:
"the cost of plan preparation, to consist of preliminary planning
to convert existing arena to a new exhibition hall."

All other terms and provisions set forth in the said Agreement remain
unchanged and in fill force and effect.
IN WM ESS WH WF, the parties hereto have executed this Amendment of
Agree men For Public Works Plan Preparation as of the day of
