In the matter of condemning and taking an easement for the purpose of constructing and
maintaining a public sewer on, under and across the west 4 ft: of the east 8 ft, of
Lot 16, Blk. 2, Atwater Street Addition from Atwater Street to the alley in the rear
caf said lot: Also condemning and taking a temporary easement for construction
purposes on a strip of land 12 ft: in width on the west side of the above easement
and a strip of land 4 ft: in width on the east side of the above easement from
Atwater Street to the alley in Block 2, Atwater Street Addition:
under Preliminary Order 227 , approved April 13; 1966
Intermediary Order 229605 , approved July 26,x,966
Final Order 229 , approved Aus-gust 23,966 .
The Commissioner of Finance having submitted his report in the above matter as to the amount
of damages awarded for the taking of the land or easements therein appropriated for the above im-
provement and to whom payable; and also having submitted his assessment of benefits to property
from the making of said improvement, therefore be it
Resolved, That the said assessment of benefits be and the same is hereby approved.
Resolved further, That a public hearing be had before the Council upon said report and for a con-
firmation of the award of damages made by the Commissioner of Finance, and also upon the said as-
sessment of benefits; at the Council Chamber, in the Court House in the City of St. Paul on the
Twenty — eighth day of September, 1966 , at ten o'clock A.M. and that the Commis-
sioner of Finance be and he is directed to give notice of said hearing as prescribed by the Charter.
