WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul has heretofore incurred
costs in connection with the condemnation and wrecking of a building
at 47 West Iowa Avenue, described as South one -half of vacated alley
adjoining and the following: Except Railway Right -of -Way, LotS22 and
23, and all Lots 20 and 21, Block 6, "Merrills Division of Rice Streetd
Villas "; and _
WHEREAS, said costs were heretofore confirmed by the Council
of the City of Saint Paul in Resolution, Council File No. 228463, and
a lien thereforg was filed by the City Clerk of the City of Saint Paul
in the Office of_the Register of Deeds in and for Ramsey County, Minnesota,
on May 24, 1966, and recorded in 2026 Ramsey_ County Records 357, Document
No. 1676780; and
WHEREAS, such lien, as represented by Comptroller's Registered
Bill No. 4 -2714, is in the amount of $265.56, which amount was paid and
satisfied on behalf of Russell D. Bauer and Kathleen A. Bauer, Saint
Paul, Minnesota, on August 23, 1966; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the proper City officers of the City of Saint
Paul are hereby authorized and directed to prepare a satisfaction of
the aforesaid lien, execute the same, and deliver the original thereof
to Commercial State Bank as trustee for Russell D. Bauer and Kathleen A.
Bauer,in care of the Abstract Clerk of Ramsey County.
