THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. That Ordinance No. 7607, approved February 13, 'i 1935, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by striking out the minimum "qua7ifications--for the'following titles: " - Deputy Health Officer - P Health Sanitarian Sanitarian II Sanitarian III and, by substituting in lieu thereof, respectively, the following minimum qualifications: ' Deputy Health Officer "College graduation and three yearst experience as a Sanitarian IV,' or equivalent. " Health Sanitarian "College graduation. Applicants must be under 35 years of age. (No substitution for education.) (Male only.) " Sanitarian IT "College graduation and two years= experience as a Health Sanitarian, or equivalent experience. (No substitution for education.) (Male only.) Examples of work performed: ,� To assist in establishing and maintaining `techniques and organ- ' izational principles of the Executive Planning and Review Committee To assist in agency and inter- agency planning in regard to heart disease, cancer, stroke and related diseases. To coordinate the activities of the Executive Planning and Review Committee with the Bureau of Health, metropolitan hospital planning council, the area health council, and endowment and other agencies having an interest in community planning for heart disease, cancer, stroke and related diseases. To do research in regard to programs for heart disease, cancer, ' stroke.and related diseases'in this community as well as iii other communities; and to compile statistical data as requested by the Executive Planning and Review Committee and /or the Project Administrator. To write reports and exchange and distribute information with local, state and national medical and planning groups and agencies. To keep the public informed of the programs available for patients with heart disease, rcancer, stroke and related diseases. To supervise the development of more effective inter- agency working relationships and to work for the extension of health services and facilities beyond the' hospital.
