approved April 22, 1966, providing for the sale of surplus,property As described below:
Fire Station No. 1 - the - northerly 6-6-feet of Lots 1 and 2, Block 56,
Irvines Enlargement of Rice and Irvines addition
to the Town of Saint Paul
by and through the Land Committee, consisting of the Mayor, the Commissioner of Public

WHEREAS, all bids were rejected on Formal Bid #1848 by Council Resolution, Council File
No,, 229854, approved August 181, 1966, on the recommendation of the Contract Committee,
for the reason that the appraised value of the property exceeded the amount•of the
proposal submitted by the highest bidder
WHEREAS, the Land Committee now recommends to the Council of the City of Saint Paul
the sale of the above described properties to the individuals indicated and for the
prices indicated as follows:

Louis P. Gilbert, undivided one half interest and
Capital City Holding Company, a partnership of Loren Nelson, Edward
Bifulk, James Miley,!John Gaertner and Frank Gaertner, undivided
one half interest

for the appraised price of Twenty Five Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars ($25,800.00),

of which a certified check in the amount of Two Thousand Five Hundred Eighty Dollars
($2,580.00) has been deposited.per receipt #4470 to the City of Saint Paul dated
August 22, 1966, the balance to be paid at time of transfer of title; therefor be it
