IF
WHEREAS, Comptroller's Contrast L -67391 Palda & Sons, Inc.,
contractor for the Paving of UNIVERSITY AVENUE from Mississippi
Street to Lafayette Road, has been substantially completed, and
WHEREAS, said contractor requests that a portion of the 15%
retained under the contract from estimates for work done, be
paid in advance of the final settlement of the contract, and
WHEREAS, The Commissioner and Chief Engineer of the Department of
Public Works approve paytent at this time of $ 7,000.00 of the
$10,120.33 retained; therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the proper city officers be and they are hereby
authorized and directed to pay an estimate in the amount of
7, 000.00 from the retained percentage of $ 10,120 .33 to said
contractor, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution shall have no force or
effect unless the. - sureties on the contractor's bond consent
thereto in writing and file such consent with the City Comptroller.
