RESOLVED, That the Council hereby concurs in the award of the Contract Committee
of
therefor and hereby awards contract for the Improving /COMO PARR ROADWAYS in the
East Picnic Area, including new curbing and all work necessary for - improvement and
resurfacing to PENNIG CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, in accordance with City plans and
specifications therefor and hereto attached and the Formal Bid #1927 of said
Pennig Construction Company for the contract price of $12,498.50, (plus
Engineering Charges $1,624.81 and Inspection Charges $249.97) such bid being
the lower and said Pennig Construction Company being a reasonable and reliable
bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the
proper form of contract therefor and the proper City officials are authorized to
execute said contract on behalf of the City of St. Paul.
