Whereas, Additions which might prove to be necessary in the Improvement described
as Grading and Paving SHEPARD ROAD from West Seventh Street to Davern and Paving
MISSISSIPPI RIVER BOULEVARD from Test Seventh Street to the East Line of Section 21,
Comptroller's Contract L- 6170 -26, Ashbach Construction Company, Contractor, have been
provided for in the Specifications, and
Whereas, It has been found necessary to make the following Additions:
ADDITIONS
Sand- gravel material for foundation fill for the crib wall along
Mississippi River Bouldvard at Sta. 8 +35:
Gravel -sand material - Class 4 - 30 Cu. Yd. @ $2.00 $ 60.00
Pre -cast reinforced conc. cover for Strct.. #23 - 1 each @ 30.00
Swamp excavation of unsuitable material from Sta. 28.4.90 to
Sta. 31+60 1,576 Cu. Yd. @ $2.00 3,152.00
Furnish & Install perforated CMP drain in accord with plan
change No. 1 - C.F. 224182 140 Lin. Ft. @ $8.00 1,120.00
Total Additions 4,362.00
The items-as listed above were required for the completion of this project in a
- satisfactory manner.

Whereas, The total addition is $4,362.00 and the Commissioner of Public Vorks has
agreed with the Contractor that the amount of $4,362.00 is the correct sum to be added
to said contract; therefore be it
• Resolved, That the City of St. Paul through its City Council approves the foregoing
additions made in accordance with the Specifications in the sum of $4,362.00, said amount
to be added to the lump sum consideration named in the contract, known as Comptroller's
Contract L- 6170 -26, and which amount is to be financed from Municipal State -Aid funds.
