Gentlemen:
Attached is a copy of Council File No. 226142 in which
a special use permit to Continental Oil Company to install and
operate a gasoline filling station on the southwest corner of
West Seventh Street and Alaska Avenue was extended to July 20, 1966.
Because of many delays within our organization, we have
not been able to start construction at this time. However, we
have now obtained bids from general contractors and hope to award
this contract by July 25, 1966, and begin construction immediately
thereafter.
c
Therefore, we respectfully petition the Honorable Mayor
and City Council to grant us an additional extension of six months
to January 20, 1967.
you.
