WHEREAS, under and pursuant1to Ordinance No. 11542, approved August
/4, 1959, the Car Allowance Committee provided for in Section 5 has
reported its findings and recommendations to the Council in a letter
dated February 23, 1966, and
WHEREAS, THE Council has made a study of said report and recommenda-
tions; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul that the employees
listed below shall be entitled to and receive mileage allowances as
follows:

The Car Mileage Committee met in the office of the City Architect,
Robert L.Ames, on Monday morning, February 21, 1966 at 9:00 A.M.
The following members were present: Messrs. Ames, Clarke, Forest
Crowley (representing Mr. Kelley), LaNasa, McNeil, Merrill and Rooney.
DETENTION AND CORRECTIONS AUTHORITY
A letter dated January 27, 1966 signed by Bernard M. Troje, Executive
Director, requested the following:

DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC UTILITIES
In a letter dated February 18, 1966 Mr. Bernard T. Holland, Commissioner
of Public Utilities requested the following:

Robert J. Meyers C -$65 to C -$75 max. Eff. 3 -1 -66
This request was made due to the overload in the Air Pollution Di-
vision of Public Utilities.
Robert C. Youngman C -$45 to C -$65 max. Eff. 3 -1 -66
This request was also made due to the overload in the Air Pollution
Division of Public Utilities.
Favorable action is recommended by the Committee on this request.
