Whereas, The Board of Ramsey County Commissioners did adopt a resolution
on February 21, 1966, designating Jackson Street from its junction with
University Avenue to its junction with East Tenth Street (0.33 miles) as
County State Aid Highway No. 55,
Whereas, It appears to the City Council of the City of St. Paul that
the street heretofore described should be extended as a combination Municipal -
County State Aid Street under provisions of Minnesota Laws;
Now, Therefore, Be it Resolved that Municipal County State Aid Street
No. 505 (County State Aid Highway No. 55) be extended to include "JACKSON
STREET from University Avenue to Tenth Street" subject to the approval of
the Commissioner of Highways and be it further
Resolved, That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
forward two certified copies of this resolution to the Commissioner of
Highways of the State of Minnesota for his consideration.
