(`.g!SI'o� �lAN � 12005 pS-�g AMMENDMENT TO MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL AND AFSCME I,OCAL 1842 The City of Saint Paul (Hereinafter "Cit}�') and AFSCME Local 1842 (hereinafter "Union") enter into this Memorandum of Agreement (hereinafter "MOA") for the purpose of establishing a post-employment health plan. For any employee who retires from the City and is eligible to receive severance under Article 24 of the collective bargaining agreement, the City will contribute 105% of the full amount of the sevezance payment into a post-employment health plan. This MOA will apply to all Local 1842 members who separate from service with the City on or after January 1, 2004. This MOA will remain in effect until it is otherwise negotiated or modified by the City and Union. The Union agrees to defend, indemnify and hold hannless the City against any and all ciaims, suits, orders or judgments brought or issued against the City as a result of any action taken or not taken by the City under the provisions of this MOA. This amended memozandum of agreement supersedes any and ali previous memorandum of agreements pertaining to post-employment health plans. No precedent is established by this MOA.
