RESOLVED, Tht the Council of the City of Saint Paul,
in behalf of its members and the people of said City, hereby takes
official cognizance of the meritorious career of one of its most -
eminent and respected citizens, Gerhard Bundlie, who was called
from this life by Almighty God on the 8th day of February, 1966,
in his 77th year; at the time of his demise president of the First
Federal Savings and Loan Association of St. Paul, Mr. Bundlie was
one of the founders of that Association; he was Mayor of St. Paul
from 1930 to 1932; a graduate of the St. Paul College of Law in
1917, he has since been a widely known and respected attorney
practicing in this City; and his contributions to civic affairs
and community projects and developments in the interests of the
City of Saint Paul were considerable; be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Council, on behalf of each
of its members and on behalf of the citizens of the City of Saint
Paul, hereby extends to Mr. Bundlie =s wife, Alice, to the other
members of his family and to his friends, condolences and the city's
expression of deepest sympathy in their bereavement; be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Clerk is directed to
cause a copy of this Resolution to be prepared and delivered to the
said surviving spouse Of the deceased with all convenient speed.
