DALGLISH Commissioner of Finance BOARD OF ZONING, CITY OF SAINT PAUL TO-K— 223.4151 Room 20 CITY HALL & COURT HOUSE SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA 55102 January 24, 1966 Mr. Robert B. Gerber, Jr. City Clerk Building Dear Sir: ' This is written in response to the petition of J. R. Sweitzer to - rezone from "B" Residence to Light Industry property located on the east side of Victoria Street between Hubbard Avenue and Pierce Butler Route described as Lots 13 through 23, Block 5, Winter's Addition. s _ At the January 6, 1966, Board of Zoning meeting the staff reported that north across Hubbard Avenue is ,vacant and developed land classified as Light Industry, east and adjoining is vacant land classified as "B" Residence, farther east is an industrial use, across Pierce Butler Route is a recently constructed apartment, and west across Victoria Street is vacant land classified as Light Industrial. The Comprehensive Plan proposes Light Industry for the property. Based-upon the present zoning and the present and proposed uses of the area, the Board of Zoning recommends approval of the petition to rezone to Light Industry. Sincerely, NRH /mm N. R. Heiden Encl.
