WHEREAS, The Sheer Fence protecting the Robert Street Bridge in the
City of St. Paul was destroyed by the flood of 1965 and requires rebuilding;
and
WHEREAS, As authorized by Resolution C. F. No. 226525 approved
December 30, 1965, the City entered into Maintenance Agreement No. 1132
with the State of Minnesota, Department of Highways, for rebuilding the
Sheer Fence at the Robert Street Bridge; and
WHEREAS, Plans and Specifications for rebuilding the Sheer Fence at
the Robert Street Bridge have been prepared and are herewith presented by
the Commissioner of Public Works; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Plans and Specifications for rebuilding the Sheer
Fence at the Robert Street Bridge are hereby approved; and be it further
RESOLVED, That the Purchasing Agent be and he is hereby directed to
advertise for bids on this improvement; and be it
FINALLY RESOLVED, That said advertisement for bids shall be made in
three consecutive weeks, with the last advertisement made at least ten days
before the opening of bids on February 8, 1966.
