PAUL FILE NO FFICE OF THE CITY CLERK �l COURIL RESOLUTION - GENERAL FORM Ar W WHEREAS, in the matter of the construction of a Sewer in WHITE BEAR AVENUE from "A" Street to a point approximately 300 feet south, Comptroller's Contract L -6805, Rivard and Sons, Incorporated, contractor, the specified date of com- pletion is October 1, 1965, and WHEREAS, the contractor prosecuted the work in a diligent manner, but due to a delay in the execution of the contract documents, during which the time allotted for construction, dwindled, it was not possible to complete the work by said date of completion; therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the proper city officers be and they are hereby authorized to execute an amendment to said contract extending the completion date to OCTOBER 28, 1965, provided, however, that this resolution shall have no force or effect unless the sureties on the contractor's bond consent thereto and file such consent in writing with the City Comptroller, and be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Saint Paul waives all claim for liquidated damages, and that no engineering and inspection costs on this project will be charged to said contractor on account of such extended period.
