PAUL OFFICE OF THE CITY "CLERK COUNCIL RESOLUTION — GENERAL FORM PRESENTED BY COMMISSIONER DATE COUNCIL FILE NO 226730 WHEREAS, The Saint Paul Downtown Airport, Hainan Field, is uniquely located to figure prominently in the future growth of the City of Saint Paul with easy and convenient access to the financial and industrial centers of the City ;and WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Airports Commission has plans that would protect the airport against future flood damage thereby rendering the airport even more beneficial to the future growth of the City by virtue of increased dependability; now therefore be it RESOLVED, That the City Council, by this resolution record its approval and support of the flood damage control plans of the Metropolitan Airport# Commission; and be it FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City join with any similar resolution of the Port Authority of Saint Paul and the Housing and Redevelopment Authority to support the Metropolitan Airports Commission in their future plans for the Saint Paul Downtown Airport, Holman Field.
